Job Title: ZINC- Line Operator
Skills:
- 1 year experience in zinc or any plating/coating environment preferred
- Lift Truck Operation Experience preferred

Education:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
Job Duties:
- Work in coordination with other employees to provide customers with the best quality parts
- Load barrels per job instructions
- Make sure automated line moves barrels into process tank as prescribed by the process requirements/procedures
- Follow and know detailed job instructions for the job being processed
- Maintain proper identification of all material in process and move material to appropriate location
- Maintain clean working area at all times, including disposition of any parts or garbage on floors and walkways
- Follow all regulations prescribed by DOT, OSHA, MIOSHA, and Superior
- Inspect parts processed for conformance to job instructions
- Maintain Daily Zinc production log as required
- Report any possible maintenance problems, improvements or concerns, if possible before breakdown occurs, to the Zinc line leader / Maintenance
- Load or pack parts as needed
- Notify Zinc line leader when parts containers are needed
- Other duties as required by the supervisor

Job Duties:
- Work in coordination with the Operations/QA Manager and Chemical Analyst to efficiently run production line
- Communicate/list the Preventive Maintenance or repair requirements to Operations/QA Manager using work order form
- Perform receiving and final inspection in conformance to procedures
- Follow and know detailed job instructions for the job being processed
- Maintain proper identification of parts and move material to appropriate location
- Maintain a clean and orderly working environment by helping/making sure floors and walkways are free of any parts or garbage
- Follow and enforce required safety standards prescribed by OSHA, MIOSHA, and Superior
- Maintain daily Zinc Production log and coordinate work with zinc line operators
- Oversee line operations and report on any process or product related problems to Operations/QA Manager
- Load or pack parts as needed
- Verify/ensure chemicals are added to process tanks as indicated by the Chemical Add form given by Chemical Analyst
- Operate lift truck and maintain fluid levels on lift truck
- Monitor and clean filter at least once per shift
- Change danglers when needed every shift and clean contact points on danglers each time dangler is changed.
- Notify Shipping/Receiving when parts are needed
- Other duties as required by the Operations/QA Manager or Shipping Manager
